Goodyear Elementary

Come and join us as we seek to serve the staff and students of Goodyear Elementary School, which is located right across the street from us. The teachers and staff view our church with respect because of the time and effort we have put into serving them. We start the school year off with a luncheon for the staff during in-service and have the opportunity to read with small groups of students every week. Then we help with the backpack/school supplies for the students. Next, we have the opportunity to speak to the 4th and 5th graders about our jobs during Career day in the fall and again in the spring. We also help with a pancake breakfast for the parents the last Friday of each month. In addition, we are able to assist with judging the spelling bee and science fair projects. We close the year out with manning stations at their Spring Fling, where the students are able to engage in various activities for doing a good job during the school year.
